WASHINGTON (January 18, 2018) – After more than a month away from the lanes, Coach
Ron Davis and the Howard University Women's Bowling team return for the 10
th annual Kutztown (KU) Invitational. The three-day tourney (Jan. 19-21) will take place at Hiester Lanes in Reading, Pa.
TOURNAMENT PREVIEW
HU will compete in the 10
th annual KU Invitational where 17 out the 28 squads are nationally-ranked, including nine in the top 10.
Friday's portion consists of five Baker matches while Saturday's slate will feature five traditional contests.
Over the weekend, Howard squares off with nation's elite, which include No. 4 Vanderbilt, No. 5 Sam Houston State, and No. 7 Stephen F. Austin.
LAST TIMEOUT
On Dec. 2-3, Howard competed at the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) Northern Division Meet No. 2 where they finished 2-6 overall.
HU went 1-3 on both days. In traditional matches, sophomore Téa Lewis and senior
Kristyn Mitchell each finished in the top 10.
UPCOMING SCHEDULE
On Feb. 17-19, Howard goes to Towson, Md., for the James Brown Invitational, hosted by Towson University.
