Ron Davis and the Howard University Women's Bowling team rolls into Millsboro, Del. for the annual Hawk Classic, hosted by the University of Maryland Eastern Shore.
Friday and Saturday start at 9 a.m. while Sunday's action begins 8 a.m.
LAST TIMEOUT
Last weekend (Nov. 11-12), the Bison went 1-7 overall at the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) Northern Division Meet No. 1. Currently, HU sits tied for fourth place in the standings.
Howard struggled after day one, going winless in traditional matches (0-4).
Despite a tough day, sophomore
T'ea Lewis averaged a 188 after four matches, including a 219 against Morgan State, and finished eighth overall.
Senior
Sydney Reece placed 14th with a 161 average in four matches bowled. Newcomer
Carolyn Williams finished in the top-half after rolling a 193.67 in three matches.
On the final day (Nov. 12), HU went 1-3 with its lone victory coming against Coppin State, 873-802.
UPCOMING SCHEDULE
On Dec. 2-3, HU returns to Millsboro, Del. for the MEAC Northern Division Meet No. 2.
