MACON, Ga. – Howard University women's lacrosse goalie Jasmine Wilson was named to the Atlantic Sun Conference All-Academic Team, as announced by the league on Tuesday.
The All-Academic Team recognizes student-athletes who excel both on the field and in the classroom and exemplify the A-Sun's mission of Building Winners for Life. All the members of the team boast a 3.30 cumulative grade point average (GPA) or better and participated in at least half of their team's games.
Wilson, an English major and native of Atlanta, Ga., was one of only two student-athletes to earn a perfect 4.00 GPA and the only Lady Bison to make the team. She saw action in all 14 games, making 11 starts and stopping 128 shots in over 700 minutes in the net.
This is the second-straight year that Wilson has earned All-Academic honors from the A-Sun.
