HOWARD
Howard (1-8, 0-2 NEC) is looking for its first NEC win of the season after losing to Le Moyne College (March 21), 12-14.
Howard was led by standout performances from freshman midfielder
Sophia Lima (Altadena, Calif.) and junior midfielder
Gabrielle Nelson (Cincinnati), who each recorded three goals. Nelson earned her first collegiate hat trick and Lima added an assist for a four-point game.
DELAWARE STATE
Delaware State (0-9, 0-2 NEC) enters the contest after a challenging nonconference slate, looking to bounce back in NEC action.
Keenan Clark leads the Hornets with 14 goals.
LAST TIMEOUT
On March 21, the Bison lost to Le Moyne College, 12-14.
Sophomore attacker
Taylor Harris (Kennesaw, Ga.) and sophomore midfielder
Leah Croom (Falmouth, Mass.) contributed two goals apiece while graduate student attack/midfielder
Sawyer Walker (Rehoboth Beach, Del.) and freshman defense/midfielder
Rylie Davis (Houston) each added a score. Walker also dominated the draw circle with a game-high nine draw controls, helping Howard secure a strong advantage in possession throughout the game.
UPCOMING SCHEDULE
The Bison will return home to face FDU in NEC play Saturday, March 28 at Greene Stadium. Match time is slated for noon.
