Women's Soccer Faces American in Crosstown Home Match

WASHINGTON, DC --- Howard Women's Soccer will look to move to .500 when the Bison faces the American University Eagles Friday evening at Greene Stadium.

FAST FIVE FACTS - HOWARD (2-3) VS AMERICAN (2-4) / 7 P.M.
-    Howard remained undefeated at home with a 3-2 come-from-behind victory over Robert Morris last Friday.
-    Senior forward Rasheeda Ansari was named the Southwestern Athletic Conference Offensive Player of the Week after her debut performance against Robert Morris. Ansari scored a goal and assisted on another in the Bison's win over the Colonials.
-    The Bison currently lead the NCAA in Points (12.4/game), Scoring Offense (4.4 goals/game), Total Goals (22, tied) and Total Points (62, tied) while placing second in Assists (3.6/game).
-    Sophomore forward Kela Gray is also represented in the national rankings, placing third in Points Average (2.8/game) and fourth in both Goals Average (1.0/game) & Total Points (14).

-    Friday's game against AU will be the second of three straight Friday home games at Greene Stadium for Howard. HU will face Mount St. Mary's (9/18) in the final game of the homestand.
