NORTHBOROUGH, Mass. (July 22, 2026) – The Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) uncovered its 2026 Division I Academic Honor Roll where Howard University saw six Bison make the list. The announcement came Wednesday afternoon.
To be eligible, student-athletes must be a junior, senior or graduate student and have earned a cumulative academic 3.50 GPA grade point average (GPA) or greater.
The honorees included
Chase Coleman (Houston),
Layla Collins (Houston),
Gabrielle Nelson (Cincinnati),
Tea Vasquez (Oakland, Calif.),
Cecilia Vitti (Detroit) and
Sawyer Walker (Rehoboth Beach, Del.).
Overall, the IWLCA honored 1,212 student-athletes from 122 different institutions for their academic excellence during the 2025-26 season.
