BOSTON (April 6, 2026) – CollegeInsider.com unveiled its Final Men's Mid-Major Top 25 Poll for the 2025-26 campaign where Howard University made the list for the second time in program history. The announcement came Monday evening.
HU (24-11) landed 23rd on the poll after tallying 112 points.
It was a historic year for the program under head coach
Kenneth Blakeney. The Bison won 24 games, tying the school record for most wins in a season. More importantly, they won a first round NCAA game for the first time in school history, setting the stage for something special in years to come.
Gonzaga sits atop the poll with 28 first-place votes, followed by Miami (Ohio) and High Point.
The CollegeInsider.com Men's Mid-Major Top 25 wrapped up its 27
th season of existence.
Howard looks to build on this year's success for the upcoming 2026-27 campaign.
