NORFOLK, Va. (April 13, 2026) – The MEAC (Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference) revealed its softball weekly honors where Howard University swept all three awards. The announcement came Monday morning.
Senior outfielder
Maryn Jordan (San Diego) was named MEAC Player of the Week while fellow Bison freshman outfielder
Amirah Lenon (Chandler, Ariz.) and sophomore pitcher
Aiko Conaway (Haymarket, Va.) took home Rookie of the Week and Pitcher of the Week, respectively.
In the season sweep at Morgan State (April 11-12), Jordan batted .667 with five RBIs, four runs scored and three stolen bases while producing a .900 slugging percentage against the Lady Bears.
Lenon posted a .556 batting average with four stolen bases while registering a 1.111 OPS versus Morgan State (MSU).
For Conaway, the Virginia native went 2-0 on the week with a 0.00 ERA while holding MSU to a .042 average.
Howard returns to action Wednesday (April 15) with a road matchup at Big Ten opponent Maryland. First pitch is set for 6 p.m., in College Park, Md.
