WASHINGTON (March 6, 2026) – Howard University softball has canceled its trip to the Marshall March Madness, hosted by the Thundering Herd in Huntington, W.V., due to inclement weather.
 
HU was scheduled to play Akron (March 7), Canisius (March 8) and Marshall twice (March 7-8).
 
Howard opens MEAC (Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference) play at home against Maryland Eastern Shore with a doubleheader Saturday (March 14) at 1 p.m., at Nationals Youth Academy in D.C. The series concludes Sunday (March 15) with a noon matchup.
