Harris Takes Home Another Postseason Honor

New York product selected to the All-ECAC First Team

DANBURY, Conn. (March 25, 2026) – The Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) uncovered its 2026 Division I Men's Basketball All-ECAC Teams and major awards where Howard University graduate guard Bryce Harris (Brentwood, N.Y.) took home another postseason honor. The announcement came Wednesday morning.

The New York earned a spot on the All-ECAC First Team.

Harris, who was recently named to the BOXTOROW HBCU All-American First Team (March 16), became the second straight Bison (eight overall) to win MEAC (Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference) Player of the Year after leading the conference in scoring (17.4 ppg) and rebounding (6.7 rpg). Nationally, he finished the regular season among the nation leaders in free throw attempts (52nd) and free throws made (49th).

St. John's forward Zuby Ejiofor was voted ECAC Player of the Year while Preston Edmead (Hofstra) was named Rookie of the Year. Shaheen Holloway (Seton Hall) was voted Coach of the Year.

Howard looks to build on this year's success for the upcoming 2026-27 campaign.
