BOSTON (March 17, 2026) – CollegeInsider.com unveiled its Women's Mid-Major Top 25 where Howard University returned to the poll for the 10
th time this season. The announcement came Tuesday evening.
HU secured the 21
st slot after winning 14 games-in-a-row.
Saturday (March 14), the Bison won a conference-record 12
th Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) title after knocking off Norfolk State, 53-46, inside the Norfolk Scope Arena.
Overall, this will be Howard's seventh NCAA appearance.
Vermont (27-7), which is 13-2 since mid-January, is ranked for the first time this season. The Catamounts check in at No. 25.
The final Women's Mid-Major Top 25® of the season will be announced Tuesday (April 7).

th season of existence.
HU takes on Ohio State (OSU) Saturday (March 21) in Columbus, Ohio, live on ESPN2. This will be the first meeting between Howard and OSU.
