NORFOLK, Va. (September 15, 2025) – The Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) uncovered its women's volleyball weekly honors where Howard University senior
Leah Reeves (Allen, Texas) claimed the league's Setter of the Week. The announcement came Monday afternoon.
In the home matchups versus North Carolina A&T State (Sept. 12) and American (Sept. 14), Reeves tallied 87 assists (9.36 avg per set), 10 digs, six services and a pair of kills. In Sunday's victory over AU (American), she racked up a match-high 40 assists in the 3-0 sweep.
This season, Reeves leads the MEAC in assists per set (38
th in the nation) and total assists (56
th in the country). She also ranks among the nation leaders in aces per set (15
th) and total aces (20
th).

Camryn Shelton (Charlotte, N.C.) and rookie
Alexys James (Houston) received honorable mention.
Coppin State's TaKenya Stafford was named MEAC Player of the Week while fellow Eagle Coco Figureroa took home the conference's Defensive Player of the Week. Maryland Eastern Shore's Jayda Hutchins earned Rookie of the Week.
The Bison return to action Thursday (Sept. 18) when they host High Point at 6 p.m., inside Burr Gymnasium.
