Fieldings Falls to Sixth at the NCAA Charlottesville Regional

Virginia native unable to find a rhythm on Day Two

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (May 6, 2025) – Howard University sophomore Paris Fieldings (Chesapeake, Va.) fell to sixth place in the individual rankings at the NCAA Charlottesville Regional, held at the Birdwood Golf Course (par-71, 6,365 yards) in Charlottesville, Va.
 
The Virginia native shot an 84 (+13) in round two. Currently, Fieldings is 19-over par (161) with one round remaining.
 
Maryland's Nicha Kanpai leads the bunch after shooting 1-over par (72) in round two. After two days, she holds a one stroke advantage over Charlotte's Pimchompoo Chaisilprungruang (143, +1).
 
Clemson's Isabella Rawl and UNCW's Hannah Altman are tied for third place, posting 9-over par (151) in 36 holes of play.
 
Melena Barrientos (Clemson) closes out the individual leaderboard with an 85 (+14) performance on Day Two.
 
Fieldings wraps up the tourney with round three Wednesday (May 7), beginning with a 9:50 a.m., shotgun start time.
