CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (June 26, 2025) – Howard University standout and reigning NEC (Northeast Conference) Player of the Year
Paris Fieldings (Chesapeake, Va.) competed in the third annual Women's Open of Virginia in Charlottesville, Va. The three-day (June 23-25), 54-hole event took place at Farmington Country Club (par-70, 6,011 yards).
After shooting 5-over par (75) in round one, Fieldings made the cut with an 8-over par (78) performance in round two. She posted a 79 (+9) in the final round, tying for 25
th overall (232, +22).
Kennedy Swedick won the 2025 Women's Open of Virginia, firing 3-over par (213) in 54 holes of action. Lauren Clark, Morgan Mussatt and Addie Duron tied for second place, shooting 7-over par (217).
For Fieldings, she concluded her first season as a Bison, becoming the program's first golfer to win the individual conference title and NEC Player of the Year.
