WASHINGTON (April 11, 2025) – The Howard University women's lacrosse team continues its Northeast Conference (NEC) schedule on the road with a Saturday (April 12) morning matchup against Le Moyne College. The opening draw is set for 11 a.m., in Syracuse, N.Y., as the Bison look to bounce back from a tough home loss.

SERIES HISTORY
This marks the second meeting between Howard and Le Moyne since the Dolphins joined the NEC. Both teams are looking to gain ground in the conference standings.
HOWARD
Howard (1-11, 1-5 NEC) enters the contest following a 14-3 home loss to Saint Francis Wednesday (April 9). The Bison struggled to find an offensive rhythm, committing 21 turnovers and taking only 10 shots on goal.

Kyla Newkirk (Durham, N.C.) scored the Bison's first goal of the day in the second quarter, followed by scores from graduate attacker
Sawyer Walker (Magnolia, Del.) and junior

Leah Croom (Miami) contributed six ground balls and an assist while Walker also added two ground balls and a goal.

Taylor Williams (West Chester, Pa.) recorded eight saves.
Howard will aim to refocus on both ends of the field as they head into a key late-season matchup in Syracuse.
LE MOYNE COLLEGE
Le Moyne, a recent addition to the NEC, brings a disciplined style of play and an aggressive attack. The Dolphins are expected to present a significant challenge on their home turf.
UPCOMING SCHEDULE
Howard wraps up its regular season with a road match at Wagner Saturday (April 19), followed by Senior Day (April 26) at Greene Stadium versus LIU.
