HISTORY

In 1998, the inaugural NEC women's golf tournament took place at the Summit Country Club where Saint Francis (Pa.) won the title in 36 holes. In 2007, the tournament format shifted to a three-round event (54 holes) where the Red Flash took home another championship.

The conference championship is a three-day, 54-hole event. Team scores are calculated by adding the team's four lowest scores from each day. The top-10 finishers are named to the all-tournament team. Last year, Howard was runner-up, shooting 71-over par (911).
