ELLICOTT CITY, Md. (April 18, 2026) – Howard University senior
Marley Franklin (Los Angeles) remains atop of the individual leaderboard at the NEC Championships in Ellicott City, Md. The tourney is taking place at the Turf Valley Resort (par-71, 6025 yards).
On Day Two, Franklin shot 1-over par (72) while extending her lead. The Los Angeles native holds a five-stroke advantage over FDU's Kashika Misra (148, +6).
Collectively, the Bison slid to second place after shooting 26-over (310) in round two.
After firing 9-over par (80) on Day Two, the reigning NEC Golfer of the Year junior
Paris Fieldings (Chesapeake, Va.) is tied for ninth overall (156, +14).
FDU sits atop the team standings, posting a 299 (+15) in round two. Currently, the Knights hold a nine-stroke lead over HU with 18 holes remaining.
HU concludes with round three of the NEC Championships Sunday (April 19) at 9 a.m.
