WASHINGTON (March 29, 2025) – The Howard University softball team takes on Maryland Eastern Shore (UMES) in a MEAC (Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference) three-game series in Salisbury, Md., beginning Saturday (March 29) with doubleheader at 1 p.m., followed by a seven-inning contest Sunday (March 30) at noon.

HU (11-17, 5-1 MEAC) looks to get off to a hot start in this upcoming matchup.
 
In her matchup against the Cal Bears, sophomore Merci Hart (Los Angeles) recorded multiple hits, pushing her season total to 15 and continuing her streak as one of the Bison's most consistent offensive threats.
 
UMES
 
UMES (2-23, 1-5 MEAC) faced George Washington University Wednesday (March 26), falling 6-0.
 
LAST TIMEOUT
 
On March 25-26, Howard took on Cal Berkeley and No. 7 UCLA. Tuesday, March 25, the Lady Bison dropped a 9-3 decision to Cal. The following day, March 26, they were shut out by the Bruins, 0-10.
 
UPCOMING SCHEDULE
 
On April 5-6, Howard faces Delaware State (DSU) in a MEAC three-games series in D.C. Saturday (April 5), HU takes on DSU in a doubleheader at 2 p.m., followed by a seven-inning contest Sunday (April 6) at 2 p.m.
