HOWARD
Howard (9-13) is riding a three-game win streak after sweeping North Carolina Central (NCCU) over the weekend (March 15-16).
Monday (March 16), the MEAC uncovered its softball weekly accolades where sophomore utility player
Angel Riggins (San Diego) claimed the league's Player of the Week award. This season, she leads the MEAC with eight doubles and 13 runs scored.

HOFSTRA
Hofstra (2-19) looks to get the bats going entering Tuesday's showdown, batting a CAA-worst .233 at the plate.
Despite the hitting woes, Alanna Morse and Chelsea Villar lead the Pride attack with batting averages of .367 and .323, respectively.
LAST TIMEOUT
On March 15-16, Howard swept the three-game series versus NCCU at Washington Nationals Youth Academy.
HU rallied to knock off the Eagles in game one, 6-5, followed by a 6-1 victory in game two. Senior infielder
Sidney Fletcher (Whittier, Calif.) went 2-of-3 with an RBI in the win.
