WASHINGTON (March 1, 2025) – The Howard University women's lacrosse team is set to return home after a three-game road stretch, hosting George Mason at Greene Stadium. The matchup is scheduled for Sunday (March 2) at noon as the Bison look to secure their first win of the season.

Howard (0-4) enters the contest following a competitive battle against Radford where they remained within striking distance before ultimately falling, 19-9.
Graduate transfer
Sawyer Walker (Magnolia, Del.) put on a dominant performance, leading the team with five goals, 16 draw controls and two ground balls. The Bison also saw key contributions from sophomore
Chloe Ronsholdt (Stafford, Va.), who assisted Walker on the game's opening goal, and freshman
Aaliyah Williams (Frisco, Texas), who recorded her first collegiate goal.
Howard's defense was led by freshman
Kennedy Johnson (Acworth, Ga.), who tallied three caused turnovers, while goalkeepers
Taylor Williams (West Chester, Pa.) and
Madeline Willocks (Freeport, N.Y.) combined for six saves in the match.
With their home crowd behind them, the Bison aim to regroup and put together a strong performance against George Mason.

George Mason enters the matchup looking to gain momentum early in the season. Competing in the Atlantic 10 Conference, the Patriots bring a mix of experienced upperclassmen and promising newcomers.
Known for their aggressive attack and solid defensive play, George Mason look to test Howard's young squad and apply pressure on both ends of the field.
