WASHINGTON (February 6, 2025) – The Howard University women's lacrosse team begins its 2025 season with a home matchup against George Washington University (GW). The game is set for Friday (Feb. 7) at 11 a.m., at Greene Stadium.

George Washington leads the all-time series, 4-1, including last year's showdown at GW, 21-7 (Feb. 9, 2024).

Howard enters the season with a fresh start, fielding an entirely new team made up of freshmen.
With a complete roster overhaul, following the departure of last year's upperclassmen, the Bison are looking to build chemistry and establish a strong foundation for the program's future. This young squad is eager to make an immediate impact as they take the field for the first time together.
GEORGE WASHINGTON
George Washington enters the season projected to finish sixth in the Atlantic 10 Conference. The Revolutionaries ended last season with a 4-13 overall record and a 1-8 mark in conference play.
They placed ninth in the regular season with only one playoff win against VCU in the Atlantic 10 Tournament.

Howard goes on the road at American University Tuesday (Feb. 11). Game time is set for 1 p.m., and will be streamed live on ESPN+.
