BRIDGEWATER, N.J. (February 26, 2025) – The Northeast Conference (NEC) revealed its women's golfer weekly award where Howard University junior Morgan Horrell (Dallas) was selected the league's golfer of the week. The announcement came Monday afternoon.
 
Horrell led the Bison to victory at the 2025 Arcis HBCU Championship in Weston Hills, Fla. Individually, the Dallas product took second overall after carding 10-over par (190).
 
This season, Horrell has played in six tournaments with a 75.1 round average and three top 5 finishes.
 
Horrell, fellow classmate Marley Franklin (Los Angeles) and sophomore transfer Paris Fieldings (Chesapeake, Va.) each made the NEC Prime Performers list.
 
Howard is set to host the upcoming Lady Bison Intercollegiate Tournament in Gainesville, Fla. (March 3-4).
