BRIDGEWATER, N.J. (February 19, 2025) – The Northeast Conference (NEC) revealed its men's golf weekly awards where Howard University sophomore
Mitchell Grey (Mississauga, Canada) won co-Golfer of the Week. The announcement came Wednesday afternoon.
At the Loyola Intercollegiate (Feb. 16-18), Grey shot 2-under par (214) during the three-day tourney. After back-to-back rounds of shooting 1-under par (71), he closed out the event with an even-par performance (72). Overall, the Canadian tied for 24
th place while averaging 71.3 strokes per round.
On the season, Grey is averaging 74.2 strokes per round with one top 10 performance.
Grey shared the honor with North Carolina Central sophomore Jamal Hutchison. Both golfers made the NEC Prime Performance list.
Howard plays in the Carpetbagger Classic in Urbana, Md. (March 22-23), hosted by the Binghamton Bearcats.
