INDIANAPOLIS (December 24, 2025) – HBCU All-Stars unveiled its men's basketball weekly awards where Howard University won two honors for the second consecutive week. The announcement came Wednesday morning.
Graduate guard
Bryce Harris (Brentwood, N.Y.) grabbed HBCU All-Stars NCAA Division I MEAC Player of the Week for the third time this season while the squad earned NCAA Division I MEAC Team of the Week. This week's honorees included games from Dec. 14 through Dec. 20.
Harris averaged 15.5 points, 7.0 rebounds, 1.5 assists and 1.5 steals in the nonconference road wins at Drexel (Dec. 16) and UNCW (Dec. 20).
Currently, Harris leads the MEAC in scoring (19.8 ppg) and rebounding (7.2 rpg).
Overall, HU went 2-0 in the road victories at Drexel, 74-66, and UNCW, 67-66.
Defensively, HU leads the league in points allowed (70.7 ppg).
HBCU All-Stars LLC features the nation's top HBCU student-athletes from the MEAC, SWAC (Southeastern Athletic Conference), CIAA (Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association) and SIAC (Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference), along with Hampton, North Carolina A&T State and Tennessee State.
The 2026 HBCU All-Star Game, a college basketball showcase highlighting 24 of the best HBCU players in the country, will be held in Indianapolis at Corteva Coliseum on the Indiana State Fairgrounds (Sunday, April 5, 2026) and will air live on national television and streaming networks.
Howard travels to Evanston, Ill., to take on the Wildcats of Northwestern Tuesday (Dec. 30).
