BALTIMORE (November 7, 2025) – The Howard University men's and women's swimming & diving teams return to the pool Saturday (Nov. 8) for a tri-meet against Virginia Military Institute (VMI) and the University of Maryland, Baltimore County (UMBC) at the UMBC Aquatic Complex (1000 Hilltop Circle, Baltimore, MD 21250). Action begins at 1 p.m., in Baltimore, Md.

MEET PREVIEW
The Bison take on the UMBC Retrievers and the VMI Keydets yet again, having last met both teams together during the 2023-24 season.
LAST TIMEOUT
On Oct. 31, both squads competed against their crosstown rival, American University (AU), hosted by the Bison at The Burr.
The men's team brought home the victory, winning, 146–80. The Bison claimed eight event wins, highlighted by relay wins and individual breakthroughs across the board.
Jalen Stewart (New Castle, Del.) captured wins in the 200 and 100 freestyle events while
Jack Barr (Nassau, Bahamas) and
Kai Lawson (Bethesda, Md.) posted top-two finishes in the 1000 free and 1-meter dive, respectively.
The women fell short to AU, 84-137; however, they earned multiple event victories.
Alyssa Napier (Wilmington, Del.) made a season debut in the 200 free, finishing with a time of 1:54.49, and
Myeisha Sharrieff (Bermuda) posted a near season-best in the 100 fly.
UPCOMING SCHEDULE
Friday (Nov. 14), the Bison travel to Emmitsburg, Md., to face Mount St. Mary's University. The competition begins at 2 p.m.
