Harris, Johnson Grab MEAC Weekly Accolades

Bison duo acknowledged for impressive performances

NORFOLK, Va. (November 24, 2025) – The Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) revealed its men's basketball weekly accolades where Howard University saw a pair of Bison acknowledged for their impressive week. The announcement came Monday.
 
Graduate guard Bryce Harris (Brentwood, N.Y.) won MEAC Player of the Week while freshman standout Jeremiah Johnson (Potomac, Md.) took home the league's Rookie of the Week.
 
Harris averaged 23.3 points and 7.0 rebounds across three nonconference games. He opened with a double-double (26 points & 12 rebounds) while shooting 44-percent (8-for-18) at Stetson. The New York native followed with 20 points and five rebounds win over Niagara. Sunday (Nov. 23), he posted 15 points, four rebounds, three assists and two steals at No. 5 Duke.
 
Johnson made a strong defensive impact, leading all players with seven steals in the win over Niagara. For the week, he posted 14 points, 13 steals, one rebound and one assist over three nonconference games.
 
Coppin State's DeMariontay Hall earned MEAC Defensive Player of the Week.
 
Howard hosts St. Mary's College (Md.) at 2 p.m., inside Burr Gymnasium Wednesday (Nov. 26).
