BALTIMORE (November 23, 2025) — Howard University men's swimming & diving squad took fourth place at the annual H2ounds Invite, hosted by Loyola (Md.) University, in Baltimore.
On the board, newcomer
Dillon Craig (Atlanta) led the way with a second-place finish in the 1-meter dive, scoring 250.70 points. Sophomore
Zion Wilson (San Antonio) and rookie
Trevor Sewell (Decatur, Ga.) also competed in the event, earning fourth (244.25 points) and sixth (225.95 points), respectively.
In the pool, junior
Mason Green (Fort Lauderdale, Fla.) and senior
Taj Benton (Baltimore) took part in the 100 Fly where they finished third (48.12) and fourth (48.67), respectively.
Freshman
Solomon Goins (Dallas) placed seventh in the 200 Fly (1:50.24) while fellow classmate
Kaleb James (Durham, N.C.) grabbed ninth place in the 200 IM (1:54.90).
Collectively, HU scored 682.50 points during the three-day event (Nov. 21-23).
Loyola won the 2025 H2ounds Invitational with 2,836 points. Johns Hopkins earned runner-up (1,161 points), followed by Rider (897 points).
On Dec. 5-6, HU returns to Baltimore for the JHU Invitational, hosted by Johns Hopskins University.
