Women’s Hoops Closes Out Road Swing at Monmouth

Bison Look to Rebound against Hawks

WASHINGTON (November 19, 2025) – Howard University women's basketball team (4-1) closes out its road swing in West Long Beach, N.J., Thursday (Nov. 20), taking on Monmouth (2-1) in a nonconference clash at the Ocean Bank Center. Tipoff is scheduled for 7 p.m. and will be aired on Flo Sports.

On Nov. 17, senior forward Zennia Thomas (Cleveland) poured in a team-high 25 points to help bring her team from a 15-point deficit only to come up short, 69-66, at VCU at the Siegel Center.
 
MONMOUTH
 
Thursday (Nov. 13), Monmouth (MU) dropped a 71-66 road decision at Maryland Eastern Shore. MU was led by Alexis Davis with a team-high 18 points and 11 rebounds.

The Bison are being tested early in preparation for the title run, having played five-of-first-six away from Burr…The Bison are doing it with balanced scoring: nine players average between 5.0 and 12.0 points…Defense has always been a trademark of Coach Grace's teams and this one is no different, holding opponents to 56 points per game, 35-percent from the field and 22-percent from three…The Bison have collected 25 blocked shots and 50 steals while forcing 21 turnovers per game that they have converted into 22 points per game.
