This is the Bison's best start since 2004-05 when they started 5-0…The Bison are doing it with balanced scoring: Nine players average between 5.0 and 12.0 points…Defense has always been a trademark of Coach Ty Grace's teams and this one is no different…Howard is holding opponents to 53 points per game, 33-percent from the field and 19-percent from three…The Bison have collected 23 blocked shots and 50 steals while forcing 21 turnovers per game…The Rams were able to score 81 points despite not having the services of the team's second leader scorer in Mary-Anne Asare (18.0 points) and her status for this game is unknown.

HU leads the series, 2-1. The Rams won, 72-48, last year. Howard won, 79-67 (2022) and 89-66 (2005).
