NORFOLK, Va. (October 6, 2025) – The Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) revealed its women's volleyball weekly honors where Howard University senior
Leah Reeves (Allen, Texas) collected the league's Setter of the Week award. The announcement came Monday afternoon.
In the two matchups against Delaware State (Oct. 3) and Maryland Eastern Shore (UMES), she racked up 89 assists, 16 digs, five service aces and a pair of blocks. Sunday (Oct. 5), Reeves posted 45 assists versus UMES.
This season, Reeves tops the MEAC in total assists (523), which ranks 59
th in the country.

Maryland Eastern Shore's Lilliana Montes was named MEAC Player of the Week while fellow Hawks Jayda Hutchins and Valeria Matias claimed Rookie of the Week and Defensive Player of the Week, respectively.
HU returns to the court Wednesday (Oct. 8) at 6 p.m., when they host UMBC on Bison Blue Night.
