NORFOLK, Va. (January 13, 2025) – The Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) revealed its men's basketball weekly accolades where Howard University saw freshman guard Blake Harper (Washington) secure his 10^th consecutive Rookie of the Week award. The announcement came Monday.
 
In Saturday's (Jan. 11) thrilling victory over rival Morgan State, Harper registered 23 points, seven rebounds and six assists against the Bears.
 
Senior guard Marcus Dockery (Washington) earned honorable mention, racking up 25 points, four boards and three dimes in the 100-95 win over Morgan State.
 
Morgan State senior guard Kameron Hobbs was named MEAC Player of the Week while fellow Bear senior forward Daniel Akitoby earned Defensive Player of the Week.
 
Later tonight, HU battles Coppin State inside The Burr. Tipoff is slated for 7:30 p.m.
