The announcement came Tuesday afternoon.

In the season series sweep versus Maryland Eastern Shore (March 29-30), Worthy batted .714 (5-of-7) with seven runs scored, three RBIs and two walks. She also had two doubles, a triple and stolen base in the three-game sweep against the Hawks.
