WASHINGTON (April 19, 2024) - Howard Softball travels to Baltimore to play Morgan State University (MSU) in Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) play. The Lady Bison and the Lady Bears are tied for first-place at 13-2. The matchup will decide who holds first place in the standings with one weekend remaining. Saturday's (April 20) doubleheader is scheduled for 1 p.m., while Sunday's (April 21) seven-inning game is slated for noon.

Gonzalez has a 7-1 mark while having a 3.11 ERA in 20 appearances (12 starts). King has a 5-4 record with a 3.59 ERA in 12 appearances (seven starts). Holt holds a 6-0 record in 19 appearances while having an impressive 0.98 ERA, which is sixth in the country.

The star players on the Bears are graduate student pitcher and first baseman Victoria Fletcher and catcher/outfielder Amber Rivas. On the season, Fletcher is batting .359 with 25 RBIs and four home runs. Rivas is hitting .333 with 16 RBIs.
