FUQUAY-VARINA, N.C. (March 18, 2024) – BOXTOROW named Howard University junior guard
Bryce Harris (Brentwood, N.Y.) HBCU National Player of the Week after his performance during the 2024 Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) Tournament. The announcement came Monday.
Harris led the Bison to its second straight tournament title after averaging 20.0 points and 7.3 rebounds. In the MEAC Quarterfinal victory over rival Morgan State (March 14), he notched a season-high 28 points, nine boards, three assists and a pair of steals.
After the regular season, Harris earned All-MEAC First Team honors while leading the league in field goal percentage (57-percent).
Tuesday (March 19), Howard faces Wagner College in the NCAA First Four. Tipoff is slated for 6:40 p.m., live on TruTV.
