Â
HOWARD
Â
HU looks to go 1-0 on opening day.
Â
After losing six seniors from last year's squad, this year's team includes many seniors and graduate students. There is plenty of freshmen, sophomores and juniors on the team as well, so everyone should be familiar with each other considering the veteran leadership on the team.
Â
Fifth-year senior
Quai Skeete-Ridley (New Carrollton, Md.) returns for her last year after being named to the All-NEC Second Team. A year ago, she led the team in total points (21), goals (18) and draw controls (31). The final game of the season against Central Connecticut State (April 29, 2023) saw the Maryland native deliver her best performance of the season, producing a hat trick on Senior Day.
Â

Â
They finished fifth in the conference during the regular season and lost in the first round of the conference championship to Davidson.
