MONTGOMERY, Ala. - Howard softball returns to the diamond after a midweek doubleheader sweep in their home opener against Bowie State. The Bison are on a seven game win streak dating back to the inaugural HBCU Invitational held in Covington, Ga. The last win streak this long was during their historical 2022 run to MEAC Champions.
 
The Celebration Classic features nine teams playing 19 games over three days at two different facilities (Barbara Williams Softball Complex and Lagoon Park). 

Howard kicks off the run in Alabama with a matchup against Southern University at 6 PM.

The Bison will end the night facing off against Alabama A&M at 8 PM. This is the second meet between the two teams this season with Howard coming out on top 11-3 in six innings during the HBCU Invitational.

The Bison will close out the trip to Alabama with a doubleheader against Tennessee State at 10 AM followed by a battle between host Alabama State at noon.
