After losing to rival American (Feb. 13), 14-9, the Bison are eager to get their first win of the season and grinding to find the turning point to the season.

Gabrielle Nelson (Cincinnati) and
Quai Skeete-Ridley (New Carrollton, Md.) lead the Bison attack and will be at the forefront of the offense.

This season, George Mason has started their season off on a strong note with a perfect 3-0 mark, including a 13-6 win over Kent State (Feb. 17).

The Patriots are off to their best start since 2000, led by Shannon Tuozzo recording six draw controls, four goals and three caused turnovers. Last season, the Patriots had a tough year with a 2-13 record.

Also, keep an eye out for Tuozzo and Peyton Farley match up as they created a 2-0 lead in the first five minutes in their last game, followed by Dahlia Trippel, who has a tendency to score as well.

The combination of Skeete-Ridley and Nelson created a goal in the first three minutes of the game against American.

By the second quarter, the Eagles had turned the game around with 5-1 to enter half time.

In the beginning of the 3rd quarter,
Maya Rhymes (Coatesville, Pa.) had the contest 5-2 for the Bison in 20 seconds, followed by Skeete-Ridley changing the board to 5-3. The third quarter ended 12-4 in favor of AU.

In the fourth quarter,
Chloe Ronsholdt (Stafford, Va.) obtained her first goal in Greene Stadium.
Chase Colemen (Coatesville, Pa.),
Tea Vasquez (Oakland, Calif.) and the Rhymes twins joined the scoring as the game ended, 14-9, with a final Skeete-Ridley goal.

Ford blocked seven shots in her second career game as a Bison.

Howard outplayed the Eagles, collecting 36 groundballs versus American's 33 while outshooting them as well, 29-25.
