Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 COVINGTON, Ga. - Howard University softball (4-3) is the one to beat. The Bison opened the inaugural HBCU Invitational with two big wins Friday afternoon in Covington, Ga. 

HU started the day with a 10-3 win over Prairie View (1-5) before downing Alabama A&M (1-3) 11-3. Both feats were highlighted by junior Sidney Fletcher's two-run homers.

The Bison return to action Saturday, February 17th where they are set to face Grambling State and Alabama State.
