Zennia Thomas (Cleveland) poured in a career-high 25 points and grabbed 15 rebounds for her first double-double of the season, but it was not enough as the Bison dropped an 87-63 loss at Seton Hall in East Orange, N.J.
HOFSTRA
Hofstra (2-5) dropped a 75-48 road loss at Florida Monday (Dec. 2) for its third straight loss. The Pride was led by Chloe Sterling, who finished with 19 points and La'Nae Corbett added nine points in a losing cause.
SERIES RECORD
This is only the fourth meeting between the two institutions. The Bison lead the series, 2-1.
In 2019, the Bison defeated Hofstra, 73-64, in the first meeting and prevailed, 64-62, in overtime in 2021. The Pride came away with a hard-fought 58-49 win last year at The Burr.
