NORFOLK, Va. (November 26, 2024) – The Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) uncovered its men's basketball weekly honors where Howard University freshman guard Blake Harper (Washington) claimed the league's Rookie of the Week for the third time this season. The announcement came Tuesday morning.

In two games, the D.C. native averaged 11.5 points, 8.5 rebounds, 3.0 assists and 1.5 steals. After flirting with a double-double (nine points and nine boards) in the road win at FIU (Nov. 18), he followed up with a 14-point performance against Boston Sunday (Nov. 24).

Senior guard Marcus Dockery (Washington) earned honorable mention after averaging 16.5 points in the contests against FIU and Boston.

Norfolk State's guard Brian Moore Jr. was named MEAC Player of the Week while Coppin State's guard Julies Ellerbe earned Defensive Player of the Week.
