BISON NOTES
Howard redshirt sophomore guard
Tyana Walker (Leawood, Kan.), the 2023-24 MEAC (Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference) Rookie of the Year and a First Team Preseason All-Conference selection, has scored only nine points in five games this season, averaging almost 12 points per game a year ago.
Howell has also struggled despite leading the team in scoring. In the last two games, the sharpshooting senior has made only 8-of-33 shots from the field.
A pleasant surprise has been the play of junior transfer
Zennia Thomas (Cleveland), who has made herself a presence on offense and on the boards.

Howard returns to action on when it travels to Williamsburg, VA on November 29 to take on William & Mary.
