HU looks to get their first win of the season.
Sophomore goalie
Anya Waller (King of Prussia, Pa.) returns to the cage after making the conference's All-Rookie Team a year ago. In her first season as a Bison, the Pennsylvania native racked up 163 total saves (18
th nationally) while ranking among the country's best in saves per match (9.59/22
nd).
Offensively, senior midfielder
Quai Skeete-Ridley (New Carrollton, Md.), selected to the 2022 Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) Commissioner's All-Academic Team, led Howard with 33 points and 28 goals last season and had eight multi-goal scoring games a year ago, including season-best five goals against Longwood (March 6, 2022).
AKRON
Akron opens the 2023 campaign against the Bison and look to bounce back after a tough 2022 campaign (2-15).
The squad is led by All-MAC selections Noelle Boyd and Julia Frombach. A year ago, Boyd tallied 44 points and 39 goals for the Zips.
LAST TIMEOUT
On Feb. 11, the Bison fell in their season opener, 16-4, to Delaware State in a neutral site contest held at UNC Chapel Hill.
Freshman
Berkeley Clayborne (Highland Park, Ill.) led the Bison attack with a pair of goals.
