LAST TIMEOUT
In the Hofstra game (Dec. 21), fifth-year guard
Iyanna Warren (Accokeek, Md.) led her team with 14 points and senior forward
Kaiya Creek (Seat Pleasant, Md.) chipped in 12 points but no one else reached double figures.
The third quarter has been a thorn in the side of the Bison (2-11) all season. It happened, yet again, as Howard was able to only score seven points, missing 14-of-15 shots in the period, including a scoreless drought of over six minutes.
The Bison did outscore the visitors, 15-14, in the final stanza, but the Pride's lead of 13 was too much to overcome as time ran out.
