WASHINGTON (December 20, 2021) – Howard University men's basketball team continues its road swing in Cambridge, Mass., where they will face Ivy League perennial powerhouse Harvard Tuesday night (Dec. 21) inside the Lavietes Pavilion. Tipoff is slated for 7 p.m. on ESPN+.

MATCHUP PREVIEW
Tuesday's showdown will be the sixth meeting between Howard and Harvard with the Crimson winning the previous five matchups.
The last contest took place Dec. 22, 2019, with Harvard defeating the Bison, 60-55, at Burr Gymnasium.
HOWARD
Howard (6-5) looks to keep the momentum going after a big win over long-time rival North Carolina A&T State (NCAT) Saturday (Dec. 18), 79-57.
Nationally, the Bison are ranked top 15 in three-point percentage (40-percent), led by graduate
Kyle Foster (Hampton, Va.). The Virginia native sits second in the country, shooting nearly 54-percent (39-of-73) from long range.
Three-time Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) Rookie of the Week
Elijah Hawkins (Washington) registers 7.2 assists per game, which ranks fourth in the nation.

Steve Settle, III (Glenarden, Md.) tops the league, shooting 54-percent (56-of-104) from the floor.
HARVARD
Harvard (7-4) enters the contest riding a two-game win streak with victories over Babson, 74-64, and Holy Cross, 62-54. At Lavietes Pavilion, the Crimson are 6-1 overall with the lone loss coming against Rhode Island, 64-57.
Chris Ledlum leads the squad, averaging 16.6 points and 9.1 rebounds., followed by Noah Kirkwood (15.7 ppg) and Luka Sakota (11.5 ppg).
LAST TIMEOUT
Saturday (Dec. 18), the Bison put on a show in front of a nationally televised audience on TNT, scoring 48 points in the second half to take down long-time rival North Carolina A&T State, 79-57, in the inaugural Invesco QQQ Legacy Classic at the Prudential Center.
Howard utilized a balanced attack with 11 Bison scoring in the contest, led by Foster. The Virginia native fell just short of a double-double, tallying a game-high 18 points and nine rebounds (career-high) in the victory.
