WASHINGTON (November 15, 2021) – Howard University men's basketball team continues its road stretch against No. 5 Villanova Tuesday (Nov. 16) at the Finneran Pavilion. Tipoff is set for 6:30 p.m., live on FS2.

MATCHUP PREVIEW
Tuesday's showdown will be the third meeting between Howard and Villanova with the Wildcats winning the previous two contests. The last bout took place Dec. 27, 1998 (Villanova 87, Howard 49).
HOWARD
HU (3-0) looks to remain unbeaten after a 76-64 victory on the road against Bradley at Carver Arena Saturday (Nov. 13). With the victory, Howard secured its third 3-0 start since the 1979-80 campaign.
Currently, five Bison are averaging double figures, led by newcomer
Elijah Hawkins (Washington) with 18.5 ppg in two contests.
Graduate
Kyle Foster (Hampton, Va.) is second on the team in scoring (14.7 ppg) while shooting a scorching 67-percent (12-of-18) from downtown.
VILLANOVA
Villanova (1-1) comes in after an 86-77 overtime loss against No. 2 UCLA Friday (Nov. 12). After Tuesday's game, the Wildcats start a four-game road swing this weekend with the Hall of Fame Tipoff Classic.
Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Famer Jay Wright leads the Wildcats in his 21
st season at the helm.

HU defeated Bradley, 76-64, inside Carver Arena Saturday (Nov. 13).
Foster led the Bison with 16 points, three rebounds and two steals off the bench. Redshirt sophomore
Steve Settle, III (Glenarden, Md.) also added 14 pts, five rebounds and three assists in the win.
UPCOMING SCHEDULE
On Nov. 20-21, Howard travels to High Point, N.C., for the Legends Classic, hosted by High Point University. The four-team tourney includes HU, Georgia State, William & Mary and the host Panthers.
Saturday (Nov. 20), the Bison take on High Point at 2 p.m.
