WASHINGTON (April 30, 2020) – Howard University men's basketball team, in collaboration with Legacy History Pride (LHP), has organized a series of Instagram Live events, starting May 1 on the squad's Instagram account (@Howard_MBB).
 
"This is a great event to recognize our Bison Family," said Howard men's basketball head coach Kenneth Blakeney. "Through this project, we hope to show the incoming class the importance of giving back and philanthropy."
 
The series tips off Friday (May 1) with The Official HU24 Welcome Party at 4 p.m., followed by the Celebration of the Class of 2020 (May 8). The squad ends with the Howard Alumni Party (May 15).
 
Each event features special guest DJs, including DJ Magic, DJ Detailz and Mr. Legacy. The purpose is to celebrate HU's past, present and future students.
