GREENSBORO, N.C. (May 3, 2019) – Howard University throwers senior
David Hudson (New Rochelle, N.Y.) and freshman
Michael Codrington (Brooklyn, N.Y.) led the men on Day Two of the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) Outdoor Track & Field Championships.
Collectively, both Bison scored six points and put HU on the board.
"The throwers really carried us on their shoulders today," said Howard Director of Track & Field
David Oliver. "They came up really big."
Hudson led the way, scoring four points after tossing a personal best in the shot put (15.17m; 49'). Additionally, the New York product fell just short of breaking the program all-time mark (15.26m).

Codrington placed seventh overall in the hammer throw after tossing a new personal best over 135 feet (41.21m). The Brooklyn native tallied two points for HU.
"[Michael] Codrington outperformed his projected finish," Director Oliver continued. [He's] on his way to garnering another all-conference recognition."
