WASHINGTON - Howard University softball will host Morgan State University for a two day, three game series against the Bears on Saturday, April 13 and Sunday, April 14. The first pitch on Saturday is scheduled for 1 p.m. Sunday's game will began at noon. The series will be held at the Washington Nationals Youth Academy.

In their last doubleheader, the Bison (10-20, 3-1 MEAC) fell to a non-conference opponent, Towson University (19-19). In the first game,
Kalita Dennis hit a homerun to put the Bison on the board in the seventh inning. The only other point came when
Sienna Herrera walked, allowing
Camille Navarro to score. The Tigers won, 7-2.
In game two, the Bison had a stronger performance with three of their four runs coming in at the top of the third. The Tigers, however, were able to pull away with the 6-4 win.Â
Scouting The Bears
Morgan State (13-21, 4-2 MEAC) is coming off of a three game winning weekend series against the Delaware State Hornets. Delaware State won game one and two with a 4-0 shutout. The Bears also took game three from the Hornets with a final score of 8-0, starting with a fly out to center field by Damishah Charles in the first inning.
Upcoming Schedule
The Bison will hit the road to battle the Coppin State Eagles for a three game series at the Coppin State Softball Complex, April 19-20.
