WASHINGTON-- Howard University softball (5-16) will continue their already successful week with a doubleheader against the Saint Peter's Peacocks (2-9) on Wednesday, March 12. The games are set for 12 p.m. and 2 p.m. at Nationals Academy in Washington, D.C. The Bison were scheduled to face the Rutgers Scarlet Knights on Tuesday, but that matchup has been postponed to a later date.
The Bison will look to maintain their momentum from their last performance, where they won both games of their doubleheader against South Carolina State on Monday, 13-5 and 15-2. The Howard offense combined to record 28 runs on 27 hits over the two games.
