WASHINGTON, D.C. -- Howard University men's basketball returns to action in the Men Against Breast Cancer (MABC) Invitational Friday with a 2:00 p.m. tip against the Robert Morris University Colonials at Savage Arena in Toledo, Ohio.
News and Notes:
- Friday marks the third meeting between Robert Morris and Howard in men's basketball. Howard took the first two games in 1976 an 1977, while Robert Morris defeated Howard in 2007.
- Record Watch: Charles Williams is 93 points shy for the most career points (1,933) currently held by James Daniel.
- The match will be the second game outside of Washington, D.C. for the Bison.
- Howard was picked to finish sixth in the 11-team MEAC in 2019-20, according to a poll of the leagues head coaches and sports information directors.

- The Howard University Bison men's basketball team could not overcome a slow start as the University of Notre Dame Fighting Irish cruised to a 79-50 victory, Tuesday night in the Purcell Pavilion at the Joyce Center.
- Howard's Wayne Bristol Jr.(Upper Marlboro, MD) recorded a season-high 14 points, pacing the Bison off the bench. Andre Toure' (Paris, France) and Zion Cousins (Upper Marlboro, MD) brought down a team-high five rebounds. Notre Dame held C.J. Williams (Richmond, VA) to seven points, his lowest output of the season.
MEN AGAINST BREAST CANCER INVITATIONAL
- The "Men Against Breast Cancer Invitational Presented by FieldTurf" is a non-conference collegiate basketball tournament featuring games at select campus venues throughout the country. The event is held in honor of "Men Against Breast Cancer" (MABC), a non-profit that provides knowledge, tools, and support services for men that are helping brave wives and mothers battling breast cancer. Breast cancer is an affliction that no woman should face alone, and men need to be informed of ways they can provide comfort and care for the women they love. For the 2019 season, FieldTurf is proud to present the MABC Invitational, featuring a ten-game round-robin tournament played at Notre Dame, Marshall, and Toledo, with Robert Morris and Howard.
